The microfilm was compiled from 5x8 index cards collected by Waldo Chamberlain Sprague of Wollaston, MA and includes the families from 1640-1850 from "old" Braintree and the modern towns of Randolph, Holbrook and Quincy. The work was transcribed by Frank Dyer from the NEHGS microfilm. The index for this work contains over 33,000 "given names. Again, the section I have is just the THAYER family.
